I build software, design things, and think about the craft of making them. Some days that means shipping an iOS app on my own; some days it means designing systems for a team that already has momentum; some days it means writing about what I've learned.
CTRLSZE is the studio I've built around all of that — a place to ship products, take on contract work, and write honestly about the build.
Building HIBUD, an iOS app for keeping friendships alive. Writing here when there is something to say. Open to one or two consulting projects at a time — design systems, product strategy, founding-engineer-shaped work.
I prefer projects with clear constraints over open-ended ones, and small teams that ship over big teams that plan. I write code I can defend, design things I can explain, and stay close to the people who use what I make.
Most weeks I'm a designer. Most weeks I'm also an engineer. Sometimes I'm a writer or a founder. The roles blur and that's how I like it.
